Voting Rights
Americans’ right to vote is mandatory, not optional
After years of hard fights for voting rights, it seems that some want to continue voter suppression because they feel that they can win by no other means. We vehemently oppose voter suppression tactics and gerrymandering districts. The power of the government comes from the consent of the governed.
Mail in ballots are a smart and legitimate way to allow the electorate to vote, period. COVID-19 proved this point. We believe that if a state requires voter ID, then the state should be required to provide ID at no charge. Abridging a citizen’s right to vote is unacceptable. We also believe that every state should be required to adopt rank choice voting, thus ending the duopoly in politics.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are you going to do to end gerrymandering?
This is simple, gerrymandering is the intentional disenfranchisement of voters. It should be illegal. We want stiff penalties for offenders, that includes immediate removal from and potential permanent disability to hold political office.
How is the ACP going to gain ballot access?
We acknowledge that the ballot access suppression tactics of the past, will likely try to be used against us moving forward. We will make sure we hit our required numbers well in advance of challenges that will come our way.
What is ranked choice voting?
Ranked choice voting is simply where you get to order your preference for office. For example, if there are three candidates and your first candidate gets the least amount of votes the first round, then your second picked candidate becomes your vote. Read more here: Wikipedia
I want to help register people to vote, how can I?
As of right now, the Anti-Corruption Party is not capable of registering voters. It is something that we will be looking into shortly, but want to make sure we are following the rules to do so.
