The US has had long term allies post WWII for a reason
We never quite thought we would have to say this, but our strongest and longest lived alliances should be safeguarded. Our neighbors, Canada and Mexico, should not have the threat of tariffs being placed on them. We already have a trade agreement with both countries. Canada should never be the 51st state and to say otherwise is asinine. It borders on an act of war, one that the president does not have the power to initiate. Canada, bud, sorry our orange Florida man is a massive hoser.
Our alliance with NATO members exists for a good reason. An a attack on one, is an attack on all. It is the quintessential peace through strength strategy. The US is the only country to have invoked article 5 of the charter. That was after the attacks on 9/11. Our allies answered the call. We should not be so callous and misguided as to walk away now.
Ukraine is a sovereign nation, full stop. Annexation of the Crimea and eastern regions of the country by Russia is unconscionable. The current war was unprovoked, unnecessary, and dangerous. The abduction of children is monstrous. If reports are true, +20,000 children have been taken hostage by Russia. It is barbarism plain and simple. We should be sending our Eastern European allies armaments and troops. For Ukraine, we should come to an agreement with our European and NATO allies as how to best proceed.
Given the recent actions of the Netanyahu government, we can no longer support Israel. The senseless genocide in Gaza has now been surpassed in craven lunacy by offensively striking Iran and therefore sparking a new hot war in the Middle East. We condemn the brazenly violent actions that the Israeli government has perpetrated and complete disregard for human life.
We do not support war with Iran. Donald Trump should be immediately be impeached for his involvement in starting a war without congressional war powers given to him. Any member of congress who does not vote to impeach and remove Trump, should be considered complicit in the crimes he continues to commit.

I thought tariffs were are good thing, why not?
Tariffs are a tool in the economic warfare tool kit. When done with precision, they can be effective at negotiating better trade deals. Though this assumes the US has idle production capacity ready to work, otherwise, the other country can just call our bluff. Plus, a tariff is a tax on whomever is consuming the imported good. So, not only do we hurt our trade partner, we also hurt US consumers.
Are you antisemitic?
No. Just because we do not agree 100% with Israel’s course of action, does not make us antisemites. We wish to see the peaceful prospering of both the Jewish and Palestinian people. In fact, all people. The world would be a much better place right now with a bit more peace, compassion, and understanding for one another.
What about Panama and Greenland?
These too are sovereign nations. The US has no business playing an 18th century imperialist power. We have strong alliances, and we should keep them that way. They would have likely obliged our requests if given proper notice and been shown respect for their sovereignty.
Where do you stand on the war on terror?
The war powers authorized post 9/11 are too broad and wide reaching not to be abused. Democrat and Republican administrations alike have used these war powers with too little oversight. It is time congress recalls its authority over the executive as it is laid out in the constitution.
