Freedom is American<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We at the ACP believe, that what makes this country great, is freedom. Yeah, it sounds corny, but we don\u2019t care. We do not believe that the government should be telling people what to do in their social life. Consenting adults can make their own decisions in the bedroom. In the courtroom, we believe that the same honor and commitment can be made by couples of the same sex, as couples of the opposite sex. Who the hell is the government to say otherwise?

It is our obligation to one another to respect our individual choices that our shared freedom provides. However, mutual respect does not mean forced celebration. Too often, there are folks on both extremes, that want to force celebration and compliance in some sort of ideological purity test. If you somehow fail this test, you have become an irredeemable enemy. Life in America is not about whose personal decisions are best, it is about building a free country together despite our differences. We know it is hard work, but since when were Americans afraid of that?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

No. The founding fathers meant the United States to be a secular nation. Freedom of religion was in the very first amendment to the constitution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Any adult with sound mind, should be free to make their own decisions. You might disagree with their choices, but you should honor their freedoms as if they are your own. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

DEI is the worst\/most important, what’s your stance?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We feel that people should largely be based on their skills and qualifications… merit. However, we are certain that discrimination still exists in America. No one should be denied opportunity because of bigotry of any kind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is your view of women and trans in the military?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There should only be one standard for combat infantry service, regardless of any characteristic. In non-combat roles, if there are capable and willing Americans wanting to serve, let them. Do it intelligently. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
